Since graduating in Drama from Hull University Gareth has worked at many major drama schools including Mountview, Drama Studio London, Royal Central and Bristol Old Vic. He has been on the Faculty of BADA (The British American Drama Academy) and has toured the USA lecturing, taking workshops and master classes in over thirty campuses. Gareth has also conducted drama workshops under the auspices of the British Council in Africa, India, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Eastern Europe. For Trinity College London he has lectured and taken master classes in Italy and New Zealand, where he has been an adjudicator at the Shakespeare Globe student festival in Wellington. In 2016 he undertook workshops on A Midsummer Night’s Dream in Dubai with students taking part in a performance at the annual Book Festival.
Coaching students and young professionals for drama school entrance and auditions, Gareth specialises in Shakespeare and period drama. With his experience and expertise on solo performing he offers guidance to aspiring solo performers through every stage in the realisation of their theatre pieces. He also serves as an examiner for Trinity Guildhall examinations board and as a senior assessor at UK drama schools.
